Background and Objectives: High intensity interval trainings (HIIT) are effective in the physiological cardiac hypertrophy and in reducing the complications of diabetic cardiomyopathy. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the effects of 12 weeks high intensity interval training on the expression of AKT1(Protein Kinase B) and mTORc1)mammalian target of rapamycin( genes in the le...

[ 5 ] - The Effect of 12 Weeks of Aerobic Training with or without Dietary Restriction on the Expression Levels of SIRT3, PGC1-α and SOD2 of Soleusmuscle in Male Rats

Background and Objectives: Background and Objectives: Recently, synergistic effect of dietary restriction (DR) on the exercise induced adaptations has attracted the attention of researchers. The aim of this research was to evaluate the effect of 12 weeks of dietary restriction with or without aerobic training on the gene expression or mRNA of SIRT3, PGC1-α and SOD2 proteins of soleusmuscle tiss...

[ 6 ] - EFFECT OF AEROBIC TRAINING ON EXPRESSION OF PGC-1Α & PEPCK GENES IN HEPATOCYTE OF STREPTOZOTOCIN-INDUCED DIABETIC MALE RATS

Background & Aims: Recently, molecular cell studies about the effect of physical exercises on diabetics have attracted the attention of many researchers. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of 10 weeks aerobic training on the expression of PGC-1a and PEPCK genes in hepatocyte of nicotinamide-Streptozotocin-induced diabetic male rats. Materials & Methods: In this experimental...

[ 7 ] - The Effect of 8 Week Aerobic Training on Atrogin, Eotaxin and IL-10 Indices in Obese Women

Background: Obesity has been recognized as one of the top 10 health problems by the World Health Organization. The purpose of the present study was to the effect of aerobic training on atrogin, eotaxin and IL-10 indices in obese women. Method: The present applied research was a quasi-experimental study in which 30 obese women aged 30-45 years were selected by available method from South T...

[ 8 ] - Evaluation of the Interactive Effect of Warfarin Administration with Continuous and Interval Training on Levels of Cardiac MGP Protein and Renal Function Indexes in Rats of Myocardial Infarction Model: An Experimental Study

Background and Objectives: Heart-kidney disorders affect on each other. Exercise training can control heart and kidney cell damages. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of exercise training and warfarin administration on cardiac matrix Gla protein (MGP) and indices of renal injury in rats of myocardial infarction model. Materials and Methods: In this experimental study, 42 male Sp...

[ 9 ] - The effect of resistance and aerobic training on Glut2 gene expression in pancreatic tissue of type 2 diabetic rats

Introduction: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of resistance and aerobic training on Glut2 gene expression in pancreatic tissue of type 2 diabetic rats. Method: In this experimental study, 32 male Wistar rats in the weight range of 220+20 g were selected and then divided into 4 groups (3 type 2 diabetic groups and one healthy group). Induction of diabetes was performed by ni...

[ 10 ] - Effect of Training Intensity on HIF-1a Gene Expression and Cardiac TG Content in Rats with Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

Introduction: HIF-1a is an important regulator in response to hypoxia that affects various genes involved in energy metabolism. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of exercise intensity on HIF-1a gene expression and cardiac TG content in rats with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Methods: The present study was performed experimentally on 40 male Wistar rats. Mice were randoml...
