In this paper, we prove two conjectures of Ulas ([21]) on two Diophantine equations of Ramanujan-Nagell type. In fact, we show that the following equations x + (2 + 1)2 = 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 1, x + 1 3 ( 2 − 1 ) 2 = 1 9 ( 49 · 4 − 11 · 4 + 1 ) have exactly four solutions.

In this paper we develop a technique of constructing bent– negabent Boolean functions by using complete mapping polynomials. Using this technique we demonstrate that for each ` ≥ 2 there exits bent– negabent functions on n = 12` variables with algebraic degree n 4 + 1 = 3`+ 1.
