The aim of this paper is to establish random coincidence point results for weakly increasing random operators in the setting of ordered metric spaces by using generalized altering distance functions. Our results present random versions and extensions of some well-known results in the current literature.

In this paper, coupled xed point results of Bhaskar-Lakshmikantham type [T. Gnana Bhaskar, V.Lakshmikantham, Fixed point theorems in partially ordered metric spaces and applications, NonlinearAnalysis 65 (2006) 1379-1393] are extend, generalized, unify and improved by using monotonemappings instead mappings with mixed monotone property. Also, an example is given to supportthese improvements.

This result improves some recently obtained on...

The purpose of this paper is to obtain the common fixed point results for two pair of weakly compatible mapping by using common (CLR) property in partial metric space. Also we extend the very recent results which are presented in [17,  Muhammad Sarwar, Mian Bahadur Zada and Inci M. Erhan, Common Fixed Point Theorems of Integral type on Metric Spaces and application to system of functional equat...

0. Introduction. If (X,≤) is a partially ordered set and A ⊆ X, then the decreasing hull d(A) of A in X is defined to be d(A) = {x ∈ X : x ≤ a for some a ∈ A}. If the poset X is not understood from the context, we may write dX(A). A subset A ⊆ X is a decreasing set if A = d(A). The intersection or union of any collection of decreasing sets in X is again a decreasing set in X. The increasing hul...

In 2007, Haung and Zhang introduced the notion of cone metric spaces. In this paper, we define an ordered space E, and we discuss some properties and examples. Also, normed ordered space is introduced. We recall properties of R, and we discuss their extension to E. We introduce the notion of E-metric spaces and characterize cone metric space. Afterwards, we get generalizations of notions of con...

In this paper, the poset $BX$ of formal balls is studied in fuzzy partial metric space $(X,p,*)$. We introduce the notion of layered complete fuzzy partial metric space and get that the poset $BX$ of formal balls is a dcpo if and only if $(X,p,*)$ is layered complete fuzzy partial metric space.

In this note we point out and rectify some errors in a recently published paper “N. Singh, R. Jain: Coupled Fixed Point Results For Weakly Related Mappings In Partially Ordered Metric Spaces, Bull. Iranian Math. Soc. 40 (2014), no. 1, 29-40”.

In this paper, we introduce α-ψ-φ-Jachymski contractive mappings with generalized altering distance functions in the setting of quasi-metric spaces. Some theorems on the existence and uniqueness of fixed points for such mappings via admissible mappings are established. Utilizing above abstract results, we derive common fixed point theorem for two operators and multidimensional fixed point resul...

The purpose of this paper is to introduce the concept of partial rectangular metric spaces as a generalization of rectangular metric and partial metric spaces. Some properties of partial rectangular metric spaces and some fixed point results for quasitype contraction in partial rectangular metric spaces are proved. Some examples are given to illustrate the observed results.
