در مطالعه ای که به منظور شناسایی فلور قارچ های میکوریزایی مزارع یونجه در استان کهگیلویه و بویراحمد انجام شد، 23 گونه قارچ، متعلق به نه جنس: acaulospora، claroideoglomus، diversispora، entrophospora، funneliformis، gigaspora، glomus، septoglomus و scutellospora  شناسایی شدند. قارچ f. mosseae فراوان ترین گونه در بین آن­ها بود. هم چنین، گونه a. spinosa نیز برای نخستین بار از ایران گزارش می شود.
