and similarly for the right topological centre Z(r)(A′′). The algebra A is said to be Arens regular if Z(`)(A′′) = Z(r)(A′′) = A′′ and strongly Arens irregular if Z(`)(A′′) = Z(r)(A′′) = A. For example, every C∗-algebra is Arens regular [2]. There has been a great deal of study of these two algebras, especially in the case where A is the group algebra L(G) for a locally compact group G. Results...

Let AI, be commutative semlslmple Banach algebras and 1 02 A2 be their projective tensor product. We prove that, if 10 2 is a group algebra (measure algebra) of a locally compact abelian group, then so are A 1 and A2. As a consequence, we prove that, if G is a locally compact abelian group and A is a comutatlve semi-simple Banach algebra, then the Banach algebra LI(G,A) of A-valued Bochner inte...

The parametric shape analysis framework of Sagiv, Reps, and Wilhelm [45,46] uses three-valued structures as dataflow lattice elements to represent sets of states at different program points. The recent work of Yorsh, Reps, Sagiv, Wilhelm [48, 50] introduces a family of formulas in (classical, two-valued) logic that are isomorphic to three-valued structures [46] and represent the same sets of co...

we establish a sharp maximal function estimate for some vector-valued multilinear singular integral operators. as an application, we obtain the $(l^p, l^q)$-norm inequality for vector-valued multilinear operators.

We propose a combination of Bochvar’s strict three-valued logic, McCarthy’s sequential three-valued logic, and process algebra via the conditional guard construct. This combination entails the introduction of a new constant meaningless in process algebra. We present an operational semantics in SOS-style, and a completeness result for ACP with conditional guard construct and the proposed logic.

Working at the level of Poisson brackets, we describe the extension of the generalized Wakimoto realization of a simple Lie algebra valued current, J, to a corresponding realization of a group valued chiral primary field, b, that has diagonal monodromy and satisfies Kb ′ = Jb. The chiral WZNW field b is subject to a monodromy dependent exchange algebra, whose derivation is reviewed, too.

Some Lie algebra analogues of Schur's theorem and its converses are presented. As a result, it is shown that for a capable Lie algebra L we always have dim L=Z(L) 2(dim(L2))2. We also give give some examples sup- porting our results.

We propose a five-valued logic that can be motivated from an algorithmic point of view and from a logical perspective. This logic is combined with process algebra. For process algebra with five-valued logic we present an operational semantics in SOS-style and a completeness result. Finally, we discuss some generalizations.

In this paper, at first we define the concepts of response function and accessible states of a complete residuated lattice-valued (for simplicity we write $mathcal{L}$-valued) tree automaton with a threshold $c.$ Then, related to these concepts, we prove some lemmas and theorems that are applied in considering some decision problems such as finiteness-value and emptiness-value of recognizable t...
