Completely regular pseudo-compact spaces have been characterized in several ways. E. Hewitt [6, pp. 68-70] has given one characterization in terms of the Stone-Cech compactification and another in terms of the zero sets of continuous functions. J. Colmez [2; no proofs included] and I. Glicksberg [4] have obtained characterizations by means of a convergence property for sequences of continuous f...

The main purpose of this paper is to introduce soft μ-compact soft generalized topological spaces as a generalization of compact spaces. A soft generalized topological space (FA,μ) is soft μ-compact if every soft μ-open soft cover of FA admits a finite soft sub cover. We characterize soft μ-compact space and study their basic properties.

In ZF (i.e., Zermelo-Fraenkel set theory without the Axiom of Choice) the following statements are shown to be equivalent: (1) The axiom of dependent choice. (2) Products of compact Hausdorff spaces are Baire. (3) Products of pseudocompact spaces are Baire. (4) Products of countably compact, regular spaces are Baire. (5) Products of regular-closed spaces are Baire. (6) Products of Čech-complete...

‎In this paper‎, ‎we investigate some results on natural metrics on the $mu$-normal functions and meromorphic $Q_p$-classes‎. ‎Also‎, ‎these classes are shown to be complete metric spaces with respect to the corresponding metrics‎. ‎Moreover‎, ‎compact composition operators $C_phi$ and Lipschitz continuous operators acting from $mu$-normal functions to the meromorphic $Q_p$-classes are characte...

G. Darbo [Rend. Sem. Math. Univ. Padova, 24 (1955) 84--92] used the measure of noncompactness to investigate operators whose properties can be characterized as being intermediate between those of contraction and compact operators. In this paper, we apply the Darbo's fixed point theorem for solving infinite system of linear equations in some sequence spaces.

In this paper, we introduce the concept of rarely generalized regular fuzzy continuous functions in the sense of A.P. Sostak's and Ramadan is introduced. Some interesting properties and characterizations of them are investigated. Also, some applications to fuzzy compact spaces are established.

We prove a related fixed point theorem for n mappings which arenot necessarily continuous in n fuzzy metric spaces using an implicit relationone of them is a sequentially compact fuzzy metric space which generalizeresults of Aliouche, et al. [2], Rao et al. [14] and [15].

In this paper we introduce continuous $g$-Bessel multipliers in Hilbert spaces and investigate some of their properties. We provide some conditions under which a continuous $g$-Bessel multiplier is a compact operator. Also, we show the continuous dependency of continuous $g$-Bessel multipliers on their parameters.

Method of the solution of the main problem of homogeneous spaces thermodynamics for non-compact spaces in the case of non-compact Lie groups is presented in the article. The method is based on the method of coadjoint orbits. The formula that allows efficiently evaluate heat kernel on non-compact spaces is obtained. The method is illustrated by non-trivial example. c © Electronic Journal of Theo...
