In this paper, we propose a viscosity iteration process for semigroup of asymptotically pseudocontractive mappings, and prove a strong convergence theorem in uniformly convex Banach space for the proposed iteration process.
We construct adaptive Mann iterations for finding fixed points of strongly pseudocontractive mappings and solving nonlinear strongly accretive (not necessary continuous) operator equation Sx = f in p-smooth Banach spaces.
In this paper, we consider fuzzy fractional partial differential equations under Caputo generalized Hukuhara differentiability. Some new results on the existence and uniqueness of two types of fuzzy solutions are studied via weakly contractive mapping in the partially ordered metric space. Some application examples are presented to illustrate our main results.
In this paper, we introduce the notion of generalized multivalued $F$- weak contraction and we prove some fixed point theorems related to introduced contraction for multivalued mapping in complete metric spaces. Our results extend and improve the results announced by many others with less hypothesis. Also, we give some illustrative examples.
ÐIn many scientific applications, array redistribution is usually required to enhance data locality and reduce remote memory access in many parallel programs on distributed memory multicomputers. Since the redistribution is performed at runtime, there is a performance trade-off between the efficiency of the new data decomposition for a subsequent phase of an algorithm and the cost of redistribu...
In this paper we investigate common xed point theorems for contraction mapping in fuzzy metric space introduced by Gregori and Sapena [V. Gregori, A. Sapena, On xed-point the- orems in fuzzy metric spaces, Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 125 (2002), 245-252].
In the last three decades many papers have been published on the iterative approximation of fixed points for certain classes of operators, using the Mann and Ishikawa iteration methods, see [4], for a recent survey. These papers were motivated by the fact that, under weaker contractive type conditions, the Picard iteration (or the method of successive approximations), need not converge to the f...
*Correspondence: [email protected] African University of Science and Technology, Abuja, Nigeria Abstract Let E be a real normed space with dual space E∗ and let A : E→ 2E be any map. Let J : E→ 2E be the normalized duality map on E. A new class of mappings, J-pseudocontractive maps, is introduced and the notion of J-fixed points is used to prove that T := (J – A) is J-pseudocontractive if an...
and Applied Analysis 3 It is clear that 1.7 is equivalent to 〈 Sx − Sy, x − y ≤ ∥x − y∥2, ∀x, y ∈ C. 1.8 The class of κ-strict pseudocontractions which was introduced by Browder and Petryshyn 17 in 1967 has been considered by many authors. It is easy to see that the class of strict pseudocontractions falls into the one between the class of nonexpansive mappings and the class of pseudocontractio...
