In this paper the characteristics of unsteady three-dimensional incompressible flows with heat transfer are obtained along with artificial compressibility of Chorin. At first, compatibility equations and pseudo characteristics for three-dimensional flows are derived from five governing equations (continuity equation, Momentum equations in three directions, and energy equation) and then results ...

non-fourier heat transfer analysis of functionally graded (fg) spherical shells subjected to the radiative-convective boundary conditions at their inner and outer surfaces are presented. it is assumed that the material properties have continuous variations along the thickness direction. the incremental differential quadrature method (idqm) as an accurate and computationally efficient numerical ...

In recent years, City University research group is developing a meshfree method based on Meshless Local Petrov Galerkin Method using Rankin source function (MLPG_R). The proposed method, works well for the simulations that we have carried out so far and gave a reasonable agreement with the experimental results for the wave profile. However, there is fluctuation in the pressure time history some...

The input motion for seismic analysis of building structures is generally specified in design codes in terms of response spectrum. Therefore, real or simulated time histories for ground motions whose response spectrum matches approximately the design spectrum is desired. Among the various techniques currently available for generating spectrum compatible time histories it is possible to distingu...

The main purpose of this paper is to establish different types of convergence theorems for fuzzy Henstock integrable functions, introduced by  Wu and Gong cite{wu:hiff}. In fact, we have proved fuzzy uniform convergence theorem, convergence theorem for fuzzy uniform Henstock integrable functions and fuzzy monotone convergence theorem. Finally, a necessary and sufficient condition under which th...

Assistant Professor of Botany, The Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel; and Professor, Department of Botany, University of California, Davis, California. Abstract: Matorral/chaparral and phrygana/ coastal sage vegetation types of Israel and California exhibit major differences in life form spectra, physiognomy, species richness, fire adaptations, spinescence, and leaf traits. In some cases it ...

objective: a clinically feasible convergence angle in full-coverage crown preparations, meeting the requirements for proper retention and resistance forms, has always been a matter of interest for laboratory and clinical researches. this study aims to evaluate the angle in teeth prepared by both under- and post-graduate students at tehran university of medical sciences, faculty of dentistry, de...

A systematic investigation of the effect of the history force on particle advection is carried out in a paradigmatic model flow of chaotic advection, the von Kármán flow. All investigated properties turn out to heavily depend on the presence of memory when compared to previous studies neglecting this force. We find a weaker tendency for accumulation and for caustics formation. The Lyapunov expo...

A method to compute the “exact” or consistent sensitivities to material and loading parameters of the numerical nonlinear finite element response was developed by other researchers and the second author. This general method is referred to in the literature as the Direct Differentiation Method (DDM). This paper focuses on the behavior of stand-alone sensitivity results. It presents the results o...

The notion of stratified (L, M)-semiuniform convergence tower spaces is introduced, which extends the notions ofprobabilistic semiuniform convergence spaces and lattice-valued semiuniform convergence spaces. The resulting categoryis shown to be a strong topological universe. Besides, the relations between our category and that of stratified (L, M)-filter tower spaces are studied.
