The LEP results for the eeective mixing angle sin 2 lept ef f from measurements of the inclusive charge ow in hadronic Z decays are presented. Using the very precise LEP data on exclusive and inclusive particle spectra to constrain the predictions of hadronization models systematic uncertainties have been reduced.
