We consider a second-order nonlinear wave equation with linear convolution term. When the operator is taken as identity operator, our reduces to classical elasticity which can be written $p$-system of first-order differential equations. first establish local well-posedness Cauchy problem. then investigate behavior solutions problem in limit kernel function integral approaches Dirac delta functi...

We study the convergence of P -regular splitting iterative methods for non-Hermitian positive definite linear systems. Our main result is that P -regular splittings of the form A = M−N , where N = N, are convergent. Natural examples of splittings satisfying the convergence conditions are constructed, and numerical experiments are performed to illustrate the convergence results obtained.

PURPOSE This study sought to investigate the influence of phoria adaptation on convergence peak velocity from responses located at different initial vergence positions. METHODS Symmetrical 4° convergence step responses and near dissociated phoria (measured at 40 cm from the subject's midline) were recorded from six subjects with normal binocular vision using an infrared limbus tracking system...

This paper focuses on the relationships between stratified $L$-conver-gence spaces, stratified strong $L$-convergence spaces and stratifiedlevelwise  $L$-convergence spaces. It has been known that: (1) astratified $L$-convergence space is precisely a left-continuousstratified levelwise $L$-convergence space; and (2) a  stratifiedstrong $L$-convergence space is naturally a stratified $L$-converg...

in this paper, economic convergence in selected oic (36 countries) is studied. the convergence hypothesis is tested through three approaches: beta convergence, sigma convergence, and time series model. ols is used for estimating the cross section model and cross variance is used to test the distributive model. for analyzing time series model, we used augmented dicky fuller test. beta convergenc...

In this paper‎, ‎following a very recent‎ ‎and new approach‎, ‎we further generalize recently introduced‎ ‎summability methods‎, ‎namely‎, ‎$I$-statistical convergence and‎ ‎$I$-lacunary statistical convergence (which extend the important‎ ‎summability methods‎, ‎statistical convergence and lacunary‎ ‎statistical convergence using ideals of $mathbb{N}$) and‎ ‎introduce the notions of $I$-statis...

in this paper, we use the concept of graph convergence of h(.,.)-co-accretive mapping introduced by [r. ahmad, m. akram, m. dilshad, graph convergence for the h(.,.)-co-accretive mapping with an application, bull. malays. math. sci. soc., doi: 10.1007/s40840-014-0103-z, 2014$] and define an over-relaxed proximal point method to obtain the solution of a generalized variational inclusion problem ...

Earlier experiments suggest that the perception of relative and absolute distance in binocular space is affected by the convergence angle to the stimulus. The question is how? A hypothesis was proposed in which the obtained effects are accounted for in terms of convergence differences. The hypothesis states that binocular stimuli are related to the rest convergence of the eyes which is assumed ...

Let X1,X2, . . . be a sequence of identically distributed, pairwise independent random variables with distribution P. Let the expected value be μ < ∞. Let S n = ∑i=1 Xi. It is well-known that S n/n converges to μ almost surely. We show that this convergence is effective in (P,μ). In particular, if P,μ are computable then the convergence is effective. On the other hand, if the convergence is eff...

A systematic way is presented for the construction of multi-step iterative method with frozen Jacobian. The inclusion of an auxiliary function is discussed. The presented analysis shows that how to incorporate auxiliary function in a way that we can keep the order of convergence and computational cost of Newton multi-step method. The auxiliary function provides us the way to overcome the singul...
