For a smooth harmonic map flow u : M× [0, T ) → N with blow-up as t ↑ T , it has been asked ([6], [5], [7]) whether the weak limit u(T ) : M→ N is continuous. Recently, in [12], we showed that in general it need not be. Meanwhile, the energy function E(u(·)) : [0, T ) → R, being weakly positive, smooth and weakly decreasing, has a continuous extension to [0, T ]. Here we show that if this exten...

For a bounded linear operator on Hilbert space we define a sequence of the so-called weakly extremal vectors‎. ‎We study the properties of weakly extremal vectors and show that the orthogonality equation is valid for weakly extremal vectors‎. ‎Also we show that any quasinilpotent operator $T$ has an hypernoncyclic vector‎, ‎and so $T$ has a nontrivial hyperinvariant subspace‎.

For a Banach algebra $A$, $A''$ is $(-1)$-Weakly amenable if $A'$ is a Banach $A''$-bimodule and $H^1(A'',A')={0}$. In this paper, among other things,  we study the relationships between the $(-1)$-Weakly amenability of $A''$ and the weak amenability of $A''$ or $A$. Moreover, we show that the second dual of every $C^ast$-algebra is $(-1)$-Weakly amenable.

In a general-relativistic spacetime (Lorentzian manifold), gravitational lensing can be characterized by a lens map, in analogy to the lens map of the quasi-Newtonian approximation formalism. The lens map is defined on the celestial sphere of the observer (or on part of it) and it takes values in a two-dimensional manifold representing a two-parameter family of worldlines. In this article we us...

In the present paper we introduce and study the notion of pairwise weakly Lindelof bitopological spaces and obtain some results. Further, we also study the pairwise weakly Lindelof subspaces and subsets, and investigate some of their properties. It was proved that a pairwise weakly Lindelof property is not a hereditary property.

Fish Protein Concentrate (FPC) is a healthy, sustainable and high nutritive product that produced from fish and protein and other nutrients are more concentrated than in the fresh fish. The aim of this research is to study the sustainability of FPC produced from Kilka (combination of three Caspian Sea Kilka species, Clupeonella engrauliformis, C. grimmi and C. cultriventris which were not ident...

In this paper, we propose a Modified nested sparse grid based Adaptive Stochastic Collocation Method (MASCM) for block-based Statistical Static Timing Analysis (SSTA). The proposed MASCM employs an improved adaptive strategy derived from the existing Adaptive Stochastic Collocation Method (ASCM) to approximate the key operator MAX during timing analysis. In contrast to ASCM which uses non-neste...

The medial entorhinal cortex (MEC) and the adjacent parasubiculum are known for their elaborate spatial discharges (grid cells, border cells, etc.) and the precessing of spikes relative to the local field potential. We know little, however, about how spatio-temporal firing patterns map onto cell types. We find that cell type is a major determinant of spatio-temporal discharge properties. Parasu...

This paper presents a novel approach for weakly-supervised action localization, i.e., that does not require per-frame spatial annotations for training. We first introduce an effective method for extracting human tubes by combining a state-of-the-art human detector with a tracking-by-detection approach. Our tube extraction leverages the large amount of annotated humans available today and outper...
