Suppose G is a hyperbolic group whose boundary ∂∞G has topological dimension k. If ∂∞G is quasi-symmetrically homeomorphic to an Ahlfors kregular metric space, then, modulo a finite normal subgroup, G is isomorphic to a uniform lattice in the isometry group Isom(Hk+1) of hyperbolic (k+1)-space.

This paper extends the theory of turbulence of Hjorth to certain classes of equivalence relations that cannot be induced by Polish actions. It applies this theory to analyze the quasi-isometry relation and finite Gromov-Hausdorff distance relation in the space of isometry classes of pointed proper metric spaces, called the Gromov space.

We consider the concept of fuzzy quasi-contractions initiated by '{C}iri'{c} in the setting of fuzzy metric spaces and establish fixed point theorems for quasi-contractive mappings and for fuzzy $mathcal{H}$-contractive mappings on M-complete fuzzy metric spaces in the sense of George and Veeramani.The results are illustrated by a representative example.
