— In this work we extend a previous work about the Weyl asymptotics of the distribution of eigenvalues of non-self-adjoint differential operators with small multiplicative random perturbations, by treating the case of operators on compact manifolds.

We present a scenario concerning the existence of a large class of reflectionless selfadjoint analytic difference operators. In order to exemplify this scenario, we summarize our results on reflectionless self-adjoint difference operators of relativistic CalogeroMoser type.

We prove a variant of Krein’s resolvent formula for self-adjoint extensions given by arbitrary boundary conditions. A parametrization of all such extensions is suggested with the help of two bounded operators instead of multivalued operators and selfadjoint linear relations.

We study generalized polar decompositions of densely defined, closed linear operators in Hilbert spaces and provide some applications to relatively (form) bounded and relatively (form) compact perturbations of self-adjoint, normal, and m-sectorial operators.

Rank one H−3 perturbations of positive self–adjoint operators are constructed using a certain extended Hilbert space and regularization procedures. Applications to Schrödinger operators with point interactions are discussed.
