گونه Myosotis diminuta برای اولین بار برای ایران گزارش میشود. این گونه در سال 1392 بعد از گذشت بیش از صد سال از آخرین مشاهده مستند آن در جهان، درتالابی کوهستانی در منطقه دمیرلی زنجان واقع در شمال غرب ایران مشاهده شد. جزئیات آرایهشناختی و تصاویر گیاه به منظور تسهیل شناسایی صحرایی آن و همچنین ویژگیهای خاص برای تشخیص از گونههای خویشاوند ارائه گردیده است.
