In linguistic morphology and information retrieval, stemming is the process for reducing inflected (or sometimes derived) words to their stem, base or root form—generally a written word form. In this work is presented suffix-stripping stemmer for Serbian language, one of the highly inflectional languages.
A little known property of determinants is developed in a manner accessible to beginning undergraduates in linear algebra. Using the language of matrix theory, a classical result by Sylvester that describes when two polynomials have a common root is recaptured. Among results concerning the structure of polynomial roots, polynomials with pairs of roots that are either multiplicative inverses or ...
در این پایان نامه متر های ریشه -mام انیشتینی را مورد بررسی قرار داده و نشان می دهیم که اگر f یک متر انیشتینی ریشه -mام باشد ، یعنی ric=(n -1 ) kf*f که در آن k یک تابع اسکالر می باشد ،آنگاهk=0 لذا ric=0. همچنین این خاصیت را برای متر های ریشه m-ام انیشتن ضعیف شده مورد بررسی قرار می دهیم. لازم به ذکر است مطالب ذکر شده از مقاله زیر است: y. yu and y. you, on einstein m-th...
the present study sought to investigate the role of dynamic assessment (da) in improvement of iranian efl writing performance at different language proficiency levels. to this end, after conducting the quick placement test, 60 iranian efl learners were assigned to two groups with different language proficiency levels. in both groups each participant wrote two compositions, one before and one af...
Abstract— Stemming is the process of extracting root word from the given inflection word and also plays significant role in numerous application of Natural Language Processing (NLP). Tamil Language raises several challenges to NLP, since it has rich morphological patterns than other languages. The rule based approach light-stemmer is proposed in this paper, to find stem word for given inflectio...
Sign language is a root level communication language for deaf people or those who are hearing impaired, so they found difficulty to communicate with the outer world. Hearing impaired people also had less reading skills, than the average educated person [5] so they cannot understand or gain information from outer world such as from Banks, Railways, and many more sector, they lack basic communica...
Tamil is a morphologically rich language with agglutinative nature. Being agglutinative language most of the word features are postpositionally affixed to the root word. The morphological generator takes lemma, POS category and morpho-lexical description as input and gives a word-form as output. It is a reverse process of morphological analyzer. In any natural language generation system, morpho...
The standard account of word-formation processes in Semitic languages describes words as combinations of two morphemes: a root and a pattern. The root consists of consonants only, by default three (although longer roots are known), called radicals. The pattern is a combination of vowels and, possibly, consonants too, with ‘slots’ into which the root consonants can be inserted. Words are created...
Natural language processing has wide coverage in application areas like machine translation , text to speech conversion , semantic analysis , semantic role labeling and knowledge representation .Morphological and syntactic processing are components of NLP which process each word to produce the syntactic structure of the sentence, with respect to its grammar .Semantic analysis follows syntactic ...
