We define and study a quantale-valued Wijsman structure on the hyperspace of all non-empty closed sets of a quantale-valued metric space. We show its admissibility and that the metrical coreflection coincides with the quantale-valued Hausdorff metric and that, for a metric space, the topological coreflection coincides with the classical Wijsman topology. We further define an index of compactnes...
Nowadays, geospatial information systems (GIS) are widely used to solve different spatial problems based on various types of fundamental data: spatial, temporal, attribute and topological relations. Topological relations are the most important part of GIS which distinguish it from the other kinds of information technologies. One of the important mechanisms for representing topological relations...
the purpose of the present study is to introduce the sequence space[{l_p}(e,delta) = left{ x = (x_n)_{n = 1}^infty : sum_{n = 1}^infty left| sum_{j in {e_n}} x_j - sum_{j in e_{n + 1}} x_jright| ^p < infty right},]where $e=(e_n)$ is a partition of finite subsets of the positive integers and $pge 1$. the topological properties and inclusion relations of this space are studied. moreover, the prob...
Anabelian geometry is a grand synthesis of number theory, algebraic geometry, algebraic topology, and group theory. Parallel to the situation in algebraic topology where to a space, one attaches a fundamental group (after fixing a basepoint), in algebraic geometry one attaches to every algebraic variety X (and a geometric point x) its étale fundamental group πét 1 (X,x). Similar to the topologi...
We propose a model-theoretic framework for investigating profinite structures. We prove that in many cases small profinite structures interpret infinite groups. This corresponds to results of Hrushovski and Peterzil on interpreting groups in locally modular stable and o-minimal structures.
By two well-known results, one of Ax, one of Lubotzky and van den Dries, a profinite group is projective iff it is isomorphic to the absolute Galois group of a pseudo-algebraically closed field. This paper gives an analogous characterization of relatively projective profinite groups as absolute Galois groups of regularly closed fields.
this paper is devoted to the concepts of fuzzy upper and fuzzy lower contra-continuous multifunctions and also some characterizations of them are considered.
We consider the value 1 problem for probabilistic automata over finite words: it asks whether a given probabilistic automaton accepts words with probability arbitrarily close to 1. This problem is known to be undecidable. However, different algorithms have been proposed to partially solve it; it has been recently shown that the Markov Monoid algorithm, based on algebra, is the most correct algo...
in 1997, fang proposed the concept of boundedness of $l$-fuzzy setsin $l$-topological vector spaces. since then, this concept has beenwidely accepted and adopted in the literature. in this paper, several characterizations of bounded $l$-fuzzy sets in$l$-topological vector spaces are obtained and some properties ofbounded $l$-fuzzy sets are investigated.
