In this paper, we describe the Web People Search 2 attribute extraction task (WePS2-AE). It was conducted in SeptemberDecember 2008 along with the WePS2 clustering task. Six groups participated in the AE task. We will describe the motivation, task definition, evaluation set up, participating systems, and evaluation results.
