Fuzzy queries addressed to a relational database management system are based on the expression of user preferences which leads to obtain more appropriate answers. Fuzzy set theory provides powerful tools to define such conditions (fuzzy conditions). In this context, it is possible to consider fuzzy bipolar conditions which are made of two fuzzy sets to describe user's preferences: i) a fuzzy co...

This paper demonstrates twometa-mathematical propositions concerning the increasingly popular “intuitionistic” (= vague) approaches to fuzzy sets and fuzzy topology, as well as the closely related interval-valued (= grey) sets and interval-valued “intuitionistic” sets: (1) the term “intuitionistic” in these contexts is historically inappropriate given the standard mathematical usage of “intuiti...

In this paper, we first introduce the concept of quasi-coincidence of a fuzzy interval value with an interval valued fuzzy set. By using this new idea, we consider the interval valued ( , fuzzy (implicative) ideals of pseudo-MV algebras and investigate some of their related properties. Some characterization theorems of these generalized fuzzy (implicative) ideals are derived. ) q ∈∈∨ −

Based on the Choquet integral and the generalized Shapley function, two new induced Atanassov’s interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy hybrid aggregation operators are defined, which are named as the induced generalized Shapley Atanassov’s interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy hybrid Choquet arithmetical averaging (IGS-IVIFHCAA) operator and the induced generalized Shapley Atanassov’s interval-val...

Necessary and sufficient conditions under which two fuzzy sets (in the most general, poset valued setting) with the same domain have equal families of cut sets are given. The corresponding equivalence relation on the related fuzzy power set is investigated. Rela tionship of poset valued fuzzy sets and fuzzy sets for which the co-domain is Dedekind-MacNeille completion of that posets is deduced.

In this paper, (α,β)-interval valued set is studied. The order relation on defined. It shown that complete lattice by giving the definitions of infumum and supremum these sets. Then, negation function sets introduced.
With help ,(α,β)-interval intuitionistic fuzzy are fundamental algebraic properties examined. level subsets given. Some propositions examples

The paper is devoted to a concept of a fuzzy ordered set and partially ordered set category fuzzyfication. The aim of this work is to define a fuzzy order relation on a usual set, on an L-valued set and on an L-set. Using the fuzzy order relation we construct fuzzy POS category and study the connection between this categories and SET(L).

This paper attempts to generalize universal algebras on classical sets to $L$-sets when $L$ is a GL-quantale. Some basic notions of fuzzy universal algebra on an $L$-set are introduced, such as subalgebra, quotient algebra, homomorphism, congruence, and direct product etc. The properties of them are studied. $L$-valued power algebra is also introduced and it is shown there is an onto homomorphi...

The Dempster–Shafer theory (DST) may be considered as a generalization of the probability theory, which assigns mass values to the subsets of the referential set and suggests an interval-valued probability measure. There have been several attempts for fuzzy generalization of the DST by assigning mass (probability) values to the fuzzy subsets of the referential set. The interval-valued probabili...

This paper presents a method to construct an interval-valued fuzzy set from a fuzzy set and the representation of the lack of knowledge or ignorance that experts are subject to when they define the membership values of the elements to that fuzzy set. With this construction method, it is proved that membership intervals of equal length to the ignorance associated to the elements are obtained whe...
