Following the introduction of fuzzy sets in 1965, a notion of fuzzy topological group was proposed by Foster in 1979: essentially he took a group and furnished it with a fuzzy topological structure. An equivalent notion of fuzzy topological group was introduced by Ma and Yu in 1984 by replacing points by fuzzy points. Recently two of the coauthors have introduced the notion of the topology indu...
Known and new results on free Boolean topological groups are collected. An account of the properties that these groups share with free or free Abelian topological groups and properties specific to free Boolean groups is given. Special emphasis is placed on the application of set-theoretic methods to the study of Boolean topological groups.
A topological group is said to be ambitable if each uniformly bounded uniformly equicontinuous set of functions on the group with its right uniformity is contained in an ambit. For n = 0, 1, 2, . . ., every locally אn-bounded topological group is either precompact or ambitable. In the familiar semigroups constructed over ambitable groups, topological centres have an effective characterization.
the aim of this paper is to study the categorical relations betweenmatroids, goetschel-voxman’s fuzzy matroids and shi’s fuzzifying matroids.it is shown that the category of fuzzifying matroids is isomorphic to that ofclosed fuzzy matroids and the latter is concretely coreflective in the categoryof fuzzy matroids. the category of matroids can be embedded in that offuzzifying matroids as a simul...
In this paper we characterize various sorts of boundedness of the free (abelian) topological group F (X) (A(X)) as well as the free locally-convex linear topological space L(X) in terms of properties of a Tychonoff space X. These properties appear to be close to so-called selection principles, which permits us to show, that (it is consistent with ZFC that) the property of Hurewicz (Menger) is l...
The role of generalized Bowen-Franks groups (BF-groups) as topological conjugacy invariants for T automorphisms is studied. Using algebraic number theory, a link is established between equality of BFgroups for different automorphisms (BF -equivalence) and an identical position in a finite lattice (L-equivalence). Important cases of equivalence of the two conditions are proved. Finally, a topolo...
Based on a completely distributive lattice $M$, base axioms and subbase axioms are introduced in $M$-fuzzifying convex spaces. It is shown that a mapping $mathscr{B}$ (resp. $varphi$) with the base axioms (resp. subbase axioms) can induce a unique $M$-fuzzifying convex structure with $mathscr{B}$ (resp. $varphi$) as its base (resp. subbase). As applications, it is proved that bases and subbase...
The notation and terminology used in this paper have been introduced in the following articles: [3], [19], [9], [10], [16], [20], [4], [5], [22], [23], [21], [1], [6], [17], [18], [2], [25], [26], [24], [15], [12], [13], [8], [14], and [7]. Let A be a non empty set, x be an element, and a be an element of A. Let us observe that (A 7−→ x)(a) reduces to x. Let A, B be non empty topological spaces...
