The present study is the first to analyze the dynamic response of a poroelastic beam subjected to a moving force. Moreover, the influences of attached mass-spring systems and non-ideal supports (with local movements in the supporting points or base due to the presence of factors such as gaps, unbalanced masses, and friction or seismic excitations) on the responses were investigated. Non-ideal s...

This paper sets out to explain: 1. Why the speed of light c is a constant and is the maximum speed at which any moving entity can travel. 2. Why time elapsed differs for a moving entity relative to a stationary entity. 3. Reasons for the confusion between the wave and particle nature of an entity. 4. The relation between speed of light c, Planck’s constant k and time. 5. The probability for a f...

Driving simulators (DS) are an indispensable developmental tool in the automotive industry. Versatile areas of application all profit from the high degree of reproducibility and safety of DS. The upcoming demands for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) with respect to urban traffic situations result in increasing DS requirements in regard to motion envelope and system dynamics [1]. To ful...

abstract: ballasted railway track are of the most common types of railway in our country. the aim of this paper is study of three-dimensional suitable model for railway ballasted track and dynamic analysis of that using numerical runge-kutta 4th order method. after the dynamic analysis is performed the responses related to railway components are determined. to analyze the effect of passing rail...

Stellar-mass compact binaries in eccentric orbits are almost guaranteed sources of gravitational waves for Laser Interferometer Space Antenna. We present a prescription to compute accurate and efficient gravitational-wave polarizations associated with bound compact binaries of arbitrary eccentricity and mass ratio moving in slowly precessing orbits. We compare our approach with those existing i...

We consider the vacuum fluctuations contribution to the mass of a mirror in an exactly soluble partially reflecting moving mirror model. Partial reflectivity is accounted for by a repulsive delta-type potential localized along the mirror’s trajectory. The mirror’s mass is explicitly obtained as an integral functional of the mirror’s past trajectory.

Every year, natural hazards happen severely around the world. Iran is included in the first 10 countries in the world susceptible to natural hazards, and has experienced 30 hazards out of total 35 hitherto. In this connection, moving sands, as a natural hazard, creates changes to ecological conditions which cause a rupture in the lives of people. The aforementioned hazards leave adverse effects...
