in this paper, we introduce and investigate a subclass of analytic and bi-univalent functions in the open unit disk. upper bounds for the second and third coefficients of functions in this subclass are founded. our results, which are presented in this paper, generalize and improve those in related works of several earlier authors.

Objective(s):Neurotoxicity of anticancer drugs complicates treatment of cancer patients. Vinblastine (VBL) is reported to induce motor and cognitive impairments in patients receiving chronic low-dose regimen. Materials and Methods: The effects of VBL treatment on motor, learning and memory functions of male and female Wistar rats were studied by behavioral related tests. Animals were given chro...

The functions of rewards are based primarily on their effects on behavior and are less directly governed by the physics and chemistry of input events as in sensory systems. Therefore, the investigation of neural mechanisms underlying reward functions requires behavioral theories that can conceptualize the different effects of rewards on behavior. The scientific investigation of behavioral proce...

Research suggests that different types of challenging behavior (CB) may be maintained by different contingencies of reinforcement. α1-Adrenergic receptors (α1-ARs) are important players in peripheral and central nervous system (CNS) regulation and function and in mediating various behavioral responses. The α1-AR family consists of three subtypes, α1A, α1B and α1D, which differ in their subcellular distribution, efficacy in evoking intracellular signals and transcriptional profiles. All three α1-AR subtypes are present at r...

Neural ensembles oscillate across a broad range of frequencies and are transiently coupled or "bound" together when people attend to a stimulus, perceive, think, and act. This is a dynamic, self-assembling process, with parts of the brain engaging and disengaging in time. But how is it done? The theory of Coordination Dynamics proposes a mechanism called metastability, a subtle blend of integra...
