New algorithm named, Modified Vogel’s Approximation Method (MVAM) is proposed for solving fuzzy transportation problem. This algorithm is more efficient than other existing algorithms. The procedure for the solution is illustrated with a numerical example. Further, comparative study among the new algorithm and the other existing algorithms is established by means of sample problem.

This paper proposes a new algorithm for the solution of fully fuzzy Multi objective linear programming problems involving triangular fuzzy number without converting them to equivalent classical problems. Based on the fuzzy ideal and fuzzy negative ideal solution of each single fuzzy objective function we propose an algorithm which provides a fuzzy Pareto-optimal solution for the given fully fuz...

the location-routing problem is a relatively new branch of logistics system. its objective is to determine a suitable location for constructing distribution warehouses and proper transportation routing from warehouse to the customer. in this study, the location-routing problem is investigated with considering fuzzy servicing time window for each customer. another important issue in this regard ...

firstly, in this paper, we apply the fuzzy restricted variation method to achieve an analytical and approximate unsymmetrical fuzzy solution for fully fuzzy quadratic equation. in this application, after finding the real root of 1-cut of $tilde{a}tilde{x}^{2}+tilde{b}tilde{x}+tilde{c}=tilde{d}$, initial guess is always chosen with possible unknown parameters that leads to highly accurate soluti...

We study the problem of finding multimodal journeys in transportation networks, including unrestricted walking, driving, cycling, and schedule-based public transportation. A natural solution to this problem is to use multicriteria search, but it tends to be slow and to produce too many journeys, several of which are of little value. We propose algorithms to compute a full Pareto set and then sc...

Transportation problem (TP) has its uses in real life because it versatile applications. Real-life problems are often uncertain due to which is difficult find the accurate cost. The fuzzy set and intuitionistic useful for handling uncertainty, but these also have some limitations. For that reason, this study, we worked on another of values called bipolar single-valued neutrosophic (BSNS) genera...

The railway transportation planning under the fuzzy environment is investigated in this paper. As a main result, a new modeling method, called minimum risk chance-constrained model, is presented based on the credibility measure. For the convenience ofs olving the mathematical model, the crisp equivalents ofc hance functions are analyzed under the condition that the involved fuzzy parameter...

supplier selection is a multi-criteria problem. this study proposes a hybrid model for supporting the suppliers’ selection and ranking. this research is a two-stage model designed to fully rank the suppliers where each supplier has multiple inputs and outputs. first, the supplier evaluation problem is formulated by data envelopment analysis (dea), since the regarded decision deals with uncertai...
