<span lang="EN-US">Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) comprise a huge number of sensors that sense real-time data; in general, WSNs are designed for monitoring various application mainly internet things based (IoT) application. Moreover, these possess certain amount energy i.e., they battery based; thus, the network model must be efficient. Furthermore, data aggregation is mechanism minimize...

The quality of manufactured products is characterized by many controllable quality factors. These factors should be optimized to reach high quality products. In this paper we try to find the controllable factors levels with minimum deviation from the target and with a least variation. To solve the problem a simple aggregation function is used to aggregate the multiple responses functions then a...

We prove a continuity inheritance property for super- and sub-additive transformations of non-negative continuous multivariate functions defined on the domain of all non-negative points and vanishing at the origin. As a corollary of this result we obtain that super- and sub-additive transformations of continuous aggregation functions are again continuous aggregation functions.

Objective(s):Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common age-related neurodegenerative disorder. One of the hallmarks of AD is an abnormal accumulation of fibril forms of tau protein which is known as a microtubule associated protein. In this regard, inhibition of tau aggregation has been documented to be a potent therapeutic approach in AD and tauopathies. Unfortunately, the available syntheti...

The stabilization of soil organic carbon (SOC) promoted by conservation agriculture (CA) depends on aggregation. Aggregation protects SOC and creates heterogeneous microhabitats hosting diverse biota which in turn promote A long-term experiment, studying the interaction tillage with nitrogen (N) fertilization a soybean-wheat rotation, was used to investigate eukaryotic community diversity, comp...

Aggregation is generally a time consuming process that is only marginally suited for interactive result exploration. This work presents a framework of techniques to support an extended aggregation that works online and is controllable by user feedback. Supportive visualisation methods are presented as well as an overview of applicable interaction techniques and a generic architecture combining ...

When tobacco is smoked, chewed or snuffed, nicotine is absorbed by the lungs or mucous membrane and quickly moved into the bloodstream, where it is circulated throughout the brain. In fact nicotine is highly dangerous to be consumed in any form. The present study was conducted to know the adverse effects of nicotine on the platelet aggregation in cerebral microvessels of mice. Male mice of aver...

Fine-scale water column structure was mimicked in a laboratory plane jet flume to examine responses of the calanoid copepods Temora longicornis and Acartia tonsa to layers consisting of a velocity gradient, density gradient, phytoplankton exudates and food (phytoplankton). Copepods were exposed to isolated layers and combinations of cues as defined by in situ conditions. Behaviors elicited by t...

Melting of native tapioca starch granules in aqueous pastes upon heating is observed in situ using simultaneous small- and wide-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS/WAXS) and solution viscometry. Correlated structure and viscosity changes suggest closely associated amylose and amylopectin chains in the semicrystalline layers, and the release of amylose chains for enhanced solution viscosity occurs larg...

The deformation of a leaf is the aggregation of the deformation of all the cells on the leaf. Mesophyll cells and vascular bundle cells have distinctly different degree of rigidity for shrinkage. In order to simulate the deformation of an autumn leaf realistically we need the realistic venation distribution of the leaf. We modify Runions’s technique [Runions et al. 2005] by increasing the growi...
