In this paper, the solution to Fuzzy sequential Fractional Initial Value Problem [FFIVP] under Caputo type fuzzy fractional derivatives by a modified fractional Euler method is presented. The Caputo-type fuzzy fractional derivatives are defined based on Hukuhara difference and strongly generalized fuzzy differentiability. The modified fractional Euler method based on a generalized Taylors formu...

In this paper, some theorems of the classical power series are generalized for the fractional power series. Some of these theorems are constructed by using Caputo fractional derivatives. Under some constraints, we proved that the Caputo fractional derivative can be expressed in terms of the ordinary derivative. New construction of the generalized Taylor’s power series is obtained. Some applicat...

In this paper we present a numerical method for fuzzy differential equation of fractional order under gH-fractional Caputo differentiability. The main idea of this method is to approximate the solution of fuzzy fractional differential equation (FFDE) by an implicit method as corrector and explicit method as predictor. This method is tested on numerical examples.

This paper develops appropriate boundary conditions for the two-sided fractional diffusion equation, where the usual second derivative in space is replaced by a weighted average of positive and negative fractional derivatives. Mass preserving, reflecting boundary conditions for two-sided fractional diffusion involve a balance of left and right fractional derivatives at the boundary. Stable, con...

We study the properties of fractional differentiation with respect to the reflection symmetry in a finite interval. The representation and integration formulae are derived for symmetric and anti-symmetric fractional derivatives, both of the Riemann-Liouville and Caputo type. The action dependent on the left-sided Caputo derivatives of orders in the range (1,2) is considered and we derive the Eu...

The aim of this tutorial survey is to revisit the basic theory of relaxation processes governed by linear differential equations of fractional order. The fractional derivatives are intended both in the Rieamann-Liouville sense and in the Caputo sense. After giving a necessary outline of the classical theory of linear viscoelasticity, we contrast these two types of fractional derivatives in thei...

This paper introduces techniques for the estimation of solutions to fractional order differential equations (FODEs) and the approximation of a function’s Caputo fractional derivative. These techniques are based on scattered data interpolation via reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces (RKHSs). Specifically, an RKHS is generated for the purpose of estimating fractional derivatives from the Mittag-Lef...

A universal approach by Laplace transform to the variational iteration method for fractional derivatives with the nonsingular kernel is presented; in particular, the Caputo-Fabrizio fractional derivative and the Atangana-Baleanu fractional derivative with the non-singular kernel is considered. The analysis elaborated for both non-singular kernel derivatives is shown the necessity of considering...

and Applied Analysis 3 Let Γ(⋅) denote the gamma function. For any positive integer n and real number θ (n − 1 < θ < n), there are different definitions of fractional derivatives with order θ in [8]. During this paper, we consider the left, (right) Caputo derivative and left (right) Riemann-Liouville derivative defined as follows: (i) the left Caputo derivative: C 0 D θ t V (t) = 1 Γ (n − θ) ∫ ...
