This paper proposes HNF approach for the applications of AGC of a hydro-thermal and Thermal-thermal systems in a power system deregulated environment. It makes an attempt to provide a new practical AGC model with Generation Rate Constraints to fulfill the needs of modern restructured interconnected systems in a Deregulated Environment.
