We analyze a cheap talk game, a-la Crawford and Sobel (1982), in a multidimensional state and policy space. A feature of the multidimensional state space is that communication on one dimension often reveals information on others. We show how this feature imposes bounds on communication.

Effect algebras have been introduced by Foulis and Bennett [2] (see also [3, 4] for equivalent definitions) for modeling unsharp measurements in quantum mechanical systems [5]. They are a generalization of many structures which arise in the axiomatization of quantum mechanics (Hilbert space effects [7]), noncommutative measure theory and probability (orthomodular lattices and posets, [6]), fuzz...

‎our contribution in this paper is to propose an iterative algorithm which does not require prior knowledge of operator norm and prove a strong convergence theorem for approximating a solution of split equality fixed point problem for quasi-nonexpansive mappings in a real hilbert space‎. ‎so many have used algorithms involving the operator norm for solving split equality fixed point problem‎, ‎...

a quantum theory of a two and three-level laser with injected atomic coherence is developed by using a density operator method, to the best of our knowledge, for the first time. the initial atomic coherence plays an essential role. at steady state, the equation of motion for the density operator yields to exhibit laser without inversion and a phase locking but no threshold for the laser field. ...

In this paper, we enlarge the language of triangle algebra by addinga unary operation that describes properties of a state. Thesestructure algebras are called state triangle algebra. The vitalproperties of these algebras are given. The notion of state interval-valued residuated lattice (IVRL)-filters are introduced and givesome examples and properties of them are given. ...

On a discrete group G a length function may implement a spectral triple on the reduced group C*-algebra. Following A. Connes, the Dirac operator of the triple then can induce a metric on the state space of reduced group C*-algebra. Recent studies by M. Rieffel raise several questions with respect to such a metric on the state space. Here it is proven that for a free non Abelian group, the metri...

[1] A single-column model run under the weak temperature gradient approximation, a parameterization of large-scale dynamics appropriate for the tropical atmosphere, is shown to have multiple stable equilibria. Under conditions permitting persistent deep convection, the model has a statistically steady state in which such convection occurs, as well as an extremely dry state in which convection d...
