the current study examined iranian undergraduate efl students’ willingness to communicate with regard to their vocabulary knowledge. in general, participants were somewhat willing to communicate in english. the total mean score of 730 university students’ perception of willing to communicate was 83.53 out of 135. results, regarding four parts of willingness to communicate, revealed that part...

In analyses of contingency tables made up of categorical variables, the study of relationship between the variables is usually the major objective. So far, many association measures and association models have been used to measure  the association structure present in the table. Although the association measures merely determine the degree of strength of association between the study varia...

The quality is typically modeled as the univariate or multivariate distribution of quality characteristic/s. In recent applications of statistical process control, quality profiles in which the relationship between a response and explanatory variable/s is captured and monitored are increasingly used to model the quality. Several techniques have been developed to enhance the speed of detecting c...

in this paper we intend to improve the explanatory power of regressions when the deletion method is used for the remedy of multicolinearity. if one deletes the variable (s) that is (are) responsible for multicolinearity, he loses some information that is not common between the deleted variable (s) and the other remaining variables in the regression. to improve this method, we run the deleted va...

a weighted linear regression model with impercise response and p-real explanatory variables is analyzed. the lr fuzzy random variable is introduced and a metric is suggested for coping with this kind of variables. a least square solution for estimating the parameters of the model is derived. the result are illustrated by the means of some case studies.
