In this talk I brie y review the cosmological importance of CP violation and the status of calculations of baryogenisis in the context of the Standard Model. I then turn to a discussion of Standard Model Predictions for CP violation in B decays, stressing the importance of multiple measurements to overconstrain the model parameters and thus search for indications of beyond-Standard-Model physic...

The expectation of reciprocal obligations lays a foundation for the venture capitalist-entrepreneur relationship. These expectations, or perceived promises, constitute a psychological contract between the venture capitalist and the entrepreneur. In this paper, we are concerned with four forms of psychological contract violations in this relationship: i) disagreements over the strategy of the po...

The authors explore the possible relationship between student satisfaction with online learning and the theory of psychological contracts. The study incorporates latent trait models using the image analysis procedure and computation of Anderson and Rubin factors scores with contrasts for students who are satisfied, ambivalent, or dissatisfied with their online learning experiences. The findings...

Organizational commitment has been one of the most popular work attitudes studied by practitioners and researchers. This article seeks to investigate the mediating role of psychological contract (PC) in the relationship between person-job (PJ) fit, person-organization (PO) fit and organizational commitment (OC). The target population for this study consists of support staff of Iran’s national g...

We introduce the DR-CONTRACT architecture to represent and reason on e-Contracts. The architecture extends the DR-device architecture by a deontic defeasible logic of violation. We motivate the choice for the logic and we show how to extend RuleML to capture the notions relevant to describe e-contracts for a monitoring perspective in Defeasible Logic.

We propose a simple event calculus representation of contracts and a reactive belief-desire-intention agent architecture to enable the monitoring and execution of contract terms and conditions. We use the event calculus to deduce current and past obligations, obligation fulfilment and violation. By associating meta-information with the contracts, the agent is able to select which of its contrac...

We review the Standard Model predictions of CP violation in kaon decays. We present an elementary introduction to Chiral Perturbation Theory, four–quark effective hamiltonians and the relation among them. Particular attention is devoted to K → 3π, K → 2πγ and K → πf̄f decays. To appear in International Journal of Modern Physics A ∗ Work supported in part by HCM, EEC–Contract No. CHRX–CT920026 (E...

Interpersonal relationships are social associations, connections, or affiliations between two or more people. They vary in differing levels of intimacy and sharing; implying the discovery or establishment of common ground, and may be centered on something shared in common.
