The dissipative Lozi chaotic map is embedded in the Discrete Self OrganisingMigrating Algorithm (DSOMA) algorithm, as a pseudorandom number generator (PRNG). This novel chaotic based algorithm is applied to the flow shop with blocking scheduling problem.
