Recently, Flores-Franulič et al. [A note on fuzzy integral inequality of Stolarsky type, Applied Mathematics and Computation 208 (2008) 55-59] proved the Stolarsky’s inequality for the Sugeno integral on the special class of continuous and strictly monotone functions. This result can be generalized to a general class of fuzzy convex functions in this paper. We also give a fuzzy integral inequal...
This paper presents an axiomatic framework for qualitative decision under uncertainty in a finite setting. The corresponding util ity is expressed by a sup-min expression, called Sugeno (or fuzzy) integral. Techni cally speaking, Sugeno integral is a median, which is indeed a qualitative counterpart to the averaging operation underlying expected utility. The axiomatic justification of Sugeno ...
The theory of fuzzy measures and fuzzy integrals was introduced by S u g e n o [16] and intensively studied. Monographs [15] and [18] are dedicated to this topic. Recently, several classical inequalities were generalized to fuzzy integral. F l o r e sF r a n u l i č and R o m á n-F l o r e s [11] provided a Chebyshev type inequality for fuzzy integral of continuous and strictly monotone functio...
The paper deals with the aggregation of classification rules by means of fuzzy integrals, in particular with the fuzzy measures employed in that aggregation. It points out that the kinds of fuzzy measures commonly encountered in this context do not take into account the diversity of classification rules. As a remedy, a new kind of fuzzy measures is proposed, called similarity-aware measures, an...
Sugeno integrals are a well-known family of qualitative multiple criteria aggregation operators. The paper investigates how the behavior of these operators can be described in a prioritized propositional logic language, namely possibilistic logic. The case of binary-valued criteria, which amounts to providing a logical description of the fuzzy measure underlying the integral, is first considere...
The fuzzy integrals are a kind of fuzzy measures acting on fuzzy sets. They can be viewed as an average membershipvalue of fuzzy sets. The value of the fuzzy integral in a decision making environment where uncertainty is presenthas been well established. Most of the integral inequalities studied in the fuzzy integration context normally considerconditions such as monotonicity or comonotonicity....
In this paper, we present a version of Favard's inequality for special case and then generalize it for the Sugeno integral in fuzzy measure space $(X,Sigma,mu)$, where $mu$ is the Lebesgue measure. We consider two cases, when our function is concave and when is convex. In addition for illustration of theorems, several examples are given.
In a recent paper (European Journal of Operational Research, 158, 271–292, 2004), S. Greco, B. Matarazzo and R. S lowiński have stated without proof a result characterizing binary relations on product sets that can be represented using a discrete Sugeno integral. To our knowledge, this is the first result about a fuzzy integral that applies to non-necessarily homogeneous product sets and only u...
Keywords: Monotone measure Atom Weak null-additivity Regularity Sugeno integral Choquet integral a b s t r a c t In this paper, we prove some properties of atoms of weakly null-additive monotone measures. By using the regularity and weak null-additivity, a sin-gleton characterization of atoms of monotone measures on a metric space is shown. It is a generalization of previous results obtained by...
