in this article, we study the new streamline diffusion finite element for treating the linear second order hyperbolic initial-boundary value problem. we prove a posteriori $ l^2(l^2)$ and error estimates for this method under minimal regularity hypothesis. test problem of an application of the wave equation in the laser is presented to verify the efficiency and accuracy of the method.

The Probably Exact model (PExact) is a relaxation of the Exact model, introduced in by Bshouty. In this paper, we show that the PExact model is equivalent to the Exact model. We also show that in the Exact model, the adversary (oracle) gains no additional power from knowing the learners’ coin tosses a-priory.

In this paper the H and H∞ sampled-data problems with mixed discrete/continuous specifications (MDCS) are considered. The hold function is not fixed a-priory but rather is the design parameter. The (sub)optimal controller obtained is of the form of a serial interconnection of a (sub)optimal digital controller and a (sub)optimal hold function.
