In this paper, the notion of cyclic $varphi$-contraction in fuzzymetric spaces is introduced and a fixed point theorem for this typeof mapping is established. Meantime, an example is provided toillustrate this theorem. The main result shows that a self-mappingon a G-complete fuzzy metric space has a unique fixed point if itsatisfies the cyclic $varphi$-contraction. Afterwards, some results inco...
in this paper, sufficient conditions are investigated for the existence of periodic (not necessarily positive) solutions for nonlinear several time delay population system with feedback control. nonlinear system affected by an periodic external source is studied. existence of a control variable provides the extension of some previous results obtained in other studies. we give a illustrative e...
Interval arithmetic is arithmetic for continuous sets. Floating-point intervals are intervals of real numbers with floating-point bounds. Operations for intervals can be efficiently implemented. Hence, the time is ripe for standardization. In this paper we present an interval model that is mathematically sound and closed for the 4 basic operations. The model allows for exception free interval a...
this paper presents conditions for the existence and multiplicity of positive solutions for a boundary value problem of a nonlinear fractional differential equation. we show that it has at least one or two positive solutions. the main tool is krasnosel'skii fixed point theorem on cone and fixed point index theory.
A multi-point boundary value problem involving the one dimensional p-Laplacian and depending on a parameter is studied in this paper and existence of positive solutions is established by means of a fixed point theorem for operators defined on Banach spaces with cones.
The existence of fixed point in orthogonal metric spaces has been initiated by Eshaghi and et. al [7]. In this paper, we prove existence and uniqueness theorem of fixed point for mappings on $varepsilon$-connected orthogonal metric space. As a consequence of this, we obtain the existence and uniqueness of fixed point for analytic function of one complex variable. The paper concludes with some i...
Remarks on the Paper ``Coupled Fixed Point Theorems for Single-Valued Operators in b-Metric Spaces''
In this paper, we improve some recent coupled fixed point resultsfor single-valued operators in the framework of ordered $b$-metricspaces established by Bota et al. [M-F. Bota, A. Petrusel, G.Petrusel and B. Samet, Coupled fixed point theorems forsingle-valued operators in b-metric spaces, Fixed Point TheoryAppl. (2015) 2015:231]. Also, we prove that Perov-type fix...
In this paper, we give a fixed point theorem for $(psi,varphi)$-weakly contractive mappings in complete $b$-metric spaces. We also give a common fixed point theorem for such mappings in complete $b$-metric spaces via altering functions. The given results generalize two known results in the setting of metric spaces. Two examples are given to verify the given results.
In this paper, we establish the existence of positive solution for the semipositone second-order three-point boundary value problem u′′(t) + λf(t, u(t)) = 0, 0 < t < 1, u(0) = αu(η), u(1) = βu(η). Our arguments are based on the well-known Guo-Krasnosel’skii fixed-point theorem in cones.
We consider a second order three point boundary value problem for dynamic equations on time scales and establish criteria for the existence of at least two positive solutions of an eigenvalue problem by an application of a fixed point theorem in cones. Existence result for non-eigenvalue problem is also given by the monotone method.
