Given a set S, we show that there is a strict relation between the notion of similarity on S and the one of fuzzy subgroup of transformations in S . Such a relation enables us to extablish a connection between fuzzy subgroups and distances.

Binayak et al in [1] proved a fixed point of generalized Kannan type-mappings in generalized Menger spaces.
