The Hough transform is a standard technique for finding features such as lines in images. Typically edgels or other features are mapped into a partitioned parameter or Hough space as individual votes. The target image features are detected as peaks in the Hough space. In this paper we consider not just the peaks but the mapping of the entire shape boundary from image space to the Hough paramete...

The Hough transform is a standard technique for nding features such as lines in images. Typically, points or edgels are mapped into a partitioned parameter or Hough space as individual votes where peaks denote the feature of interest. The standard mapping used for line detection is the RR mapping and the key property the Hough transform exploits is that lines in the image map to points in Hough...

This paper supposes a schema to deal with the tough task of building detection and recognition from high resolution remotely sensed imagery. It is a region-based and semi-automatic schema combining with Hough transform and computation of convex hull of the pixels contained in the building areas, which can produce a precise result when the contrast between flat building rooftop and the backgroun...

We consider the problem of finding the localization of radioactive source by using data from a digital camera. In other words, the camera could help us to detect the direction of radioactive rays radiation. Therefore, the outcome could be used to command a robot to move toward the true direction to achieve the source. The process of camera data is performed by using image processing and computa...

Radiologist always examines X-ray to determine abnormal changes in cervical, lumbar & thoracic vertebrae. Osteophyte (bony growth) may appear at the corners of vertebrae so that vertebral shape becomes abnormal. This paper presents the idea from Image processing techniques such as customised Hough transform which will be used for segmentation which should be independent of rotation, scale, nois...

The concepts of $L$-convex systems and Scott-hull spaces are proposed on frame-valued setting. Also, we establish the categorical isomorphism between  $L$-convex systems and Scott-hull spaces. Moreover, it is proved that the category of $L$-convex structures is  bireflective in the category of $L$-convex systems. Furthermore, the quotient systems of $L$-convex systems are studied.

In intensive work over a four-week period in the summer of 1986, seven problems were studied and implemented on the Butterfly. The problems were Inspired by various capabilities in computer vision, and were proposed as benchmarks for a DARPA worksho{' on parallel architectures. They were: convolution and zero-crossing detectlOn for edges, edge tracking, connected component labeling, hough trans...
