We give an example of a countable theory T such that for every cardinal λ ≥ א2 there is a fully indiscernible set A of power λ such that the principal types are dense over A, yet there is no atomic model of T over A. In particular, T (A) is a theory of size λ where the principal types are dense, yet T (A) has no atomic model. If a complete theory T has an atomic model then the principal types a...

A study is made of Boolean product representations of bounded lattices over the Stone space of their centres. Special emphasis is placed on relating topological properties such as clopen or regular open equalizers to their equivalent lattice theoretic counterparts. Results are also presented connecting various properties of a lattice with properties of its individual stalks. Mathematics Subject...

Let B(κ, λ) be the subalgebra of P(κ) generated by [κ]. It is shown that if B is any homomorphic image of B(κ, λ) then either |B| < 2 or |B| = |B|, moreover if X is the Stone space of B then either |X| ≤ 2 λ or |X| = |B| = |B|. This implies the existence of 0-dimensional compact T2 spaces whose cardinality and weight spectra omit lots of singular cardinals of “small” cofinality.

By analyzing how one obtains the Stone space of the reduced product of an indexed collection of Boolean algebras from the Stone spaces of those algebras, we derive a topological construction, the "reduced coproduct", which makes sense for indexed collections of arbitrary Tichonov spaces. When the filter in question is an ultrafilter, we show how the "ultracoproduct" can be obtained from the usu...

By considering the notion of MV-algebras, we recall some results on enumeration of MV-algebras and wecarry out a study on characterization of MV-algebras of orders $2$, $3$, $4$, $5$, $6$ and $7$. We obtain that there is one non-isomorphic MV-algebra of orders $2$, $3$, $5$ and $7$ and two non-isomorphic MV-algebras of orders $4$ and $6$.

chapters 1 and 2 establish the basic theory of amenability of topological groups and amenability of banach algebras. also we prove that. if g is a topological group, then r (wluc (g)) (resp. r (luc (g))) if and only if there exists a mean m on wluc (g) (resp. luc (g)) such that for every wluc (g) (resp. every luc (g)) and every element d of a dense subset d od g, m (r)m (f) holds. chapter 3 inv...

In this note the notion of interval-valued fuzzy B-algebras (briefly,i-v fuzzy B-algebras), the level and strong level B-subalgebra is introduced. Then we state and prove some theorems which determine the relationshipbetween these notions and B-subalgebras. The images and inverse images ofi-v fuzzy B-subalgebras are defined, and how the homomorphic images andinverse images of i-v fuzzy B-subalge...

Recently, some results have been obtained on the (approximate) cyclic amenability of Lau product of two Banach algebras. In this paper, by characterizing of cyclic derivations on Lau product and module extension Banach algebras, we present general necessary and sufficient conditions for those to be (approximate) cyclic amenable. This not only provides new results on (approximate) cyclic amenabi...

the notion of $f$-derivations of up-algebras is introduced, some useful examples are discussed, and related properties are investigated. moreover, we show that the fixed set and the kernel of $f$-derivations are up-subalgebras of up-algebras,and also give examples to show that the two sets are not up-ideals of up-algebras in general.

let  and  be banach algebras, ,  and . we define an -product on  which is a strongly splitting extension of  by . we show that these products form a large class of banach algebras which contains all module extensions and triangular banach algebras. then we consider spectrum, arens regularity, amenability and weak amenability of these products.
