this paper is concerned with global analysis of a delay sveir epidemiological model in a population of varying size. by using lyapunov stability method and lasalle’s invariance principle for delay systems, we prove that when there is no endemic equilibrium, the disease free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable, otherwise the endemic equilibrium is globally stable.

In this paper an SIS epidemic model with saturated incidence rate and treatment func- tion is proposed and studied. The existence of all feasible equilibrium points is discussed. The local stability conditions of the disease free equilibrium point and endemic equilibrium point are established with the help of basic reproduction number. However the global stabili- ty conditions of these eq...

In this paper we study the dynamics of Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection under administration of a vaccine and treatment, where the disease is transmitted directly from the parents to the offspring  and also through contact with infective individuals. Stability of the disease-free steady state is investigated. The basic reproductive rate, $R_0$, is derived. The results show that the dynamics of...

In  this  paper a  non-linear  model  with  fractional  order  is  presented  for  analyzing  and  controlling the  spread  of  HIV virus.  Both  the  disease-free  equilibrium and the endemic equilibrium are  found  and  their  stability is  discussed. The basic reproduction number , which is a function of the constant parameters in the model, plays an essential  role in the stability of  the ...

In this paper, an SIR epidemic model with an infectious period and a non-linear Beddington-DeAngelis type incidence rate function is considered. The dynamics of this model depend on the reproduction number R0. Accurately, if R0 < 1, we show the global asymptotic stability of the disease-free equilibrium by analyzing the corresponding characteristic equation and using compa...

In this paper, we formulated a dynamical model of COVID-19 to describe the transmission dynamics of the disease. The well possedness of the formulated model equations was proved. Both local and global stability of the disease free equilibrium and endemic equilibrium point of the model equation was established using basic reproduction number. The results show that, if the basic reproduction numb...

in this paper, a five–dimensional mathematical model is proposed for the transmission dynamics of hiv/aids within a population of varying size. in writing the model, we have divided the population under consideration into five sub classes of susceptible, infective, pre-aids, aids related complex and that of aids patients. the model has two non- negative equilibria namely, a disease free and the...
