Recent results are presented for (1) the charge asymmetry in semielectronic kaon decay; (2) the charge radius of the neutral kaon; (3) the decay K 0 L → π 0 π 0 e + e − ; (4) constraints on ρCKM from kaon decays; (5) lepton flavor violation. Kaon physics is an area in which lattice QCD can have an important impact in Phenomenology. I review the recent progress and current status of three particular topics: kaon beta-decay, the kaon B-parameter and the non-leptonic decay of the kaon into two pions.
We study the kaon polarizabilities in the framework of Chiral Perturbation Theory to order p4. For the neutral kaon we find that them vanish and they have the first non-zero contribution to order p6.
