Fixed point results in fuzzy metric-like spaces

In this paper, the concept of fuzzy metric-like spaces is introduced which generalizes the notion of fuzzy metric spaces given by George and Veeramani cite{Vee1}. Some fixed point results for fuzzy contractive mappings on fuzzy metric-like spaces are derived. These results generalize several comparable results from the current literature. We also provide illustrative examples in support of our new results where result from current literature are not applicable.

[Nonlinear Anal., 75(4) (2012), 2154-2165], we introduce the notions of $alpha$-$phi$-fuzzy contractive mapping and $beta$-$psi$-fuzzy contractive mapping and prove two theorems which ensure the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point for these two types of mappings. In this paper by using of Suzuki contraction , we prove a fixed point theorem in the set up of fuzzy metric spaces.We also show that, in some specific cases, the results reduce to Suzuki contraction in fuzzy metric spaces. Finally, one example is presented to verify the effectiveness and applicability of our main results.
