Basic requirements for the new generation networks are applications that offer full mobility of users and services. Agent concepts and mobile software agents have become a part of the system and service architecture of the new generation networks. This paper presents mobile agent platform Crossbow. Crossbow architecture, design and implementation are explained and compared to other platforms.
