The purpose of this study is presentation a method for clustering bank customers based on RFM model in terms of uncertainty. According to the proposed framework in this study after determination the parameter values of the RFM model, including recently exchange (R), frequency exchange (F), and monetary value of the exchange (M), grey theory is used to eliminate the uncertainty and customers are...

This paper studies algebraic models for concurrency, in light of recent work on Concurrent Kleene Algebra and Separation Logic. It establishes a strong connection between the Concurrency and Frame Rules of Separation Logic and a variant of the exchange law of Category Theory. We investigate two standard models: one uses sets of traces, and the other is state-based, using assertions and weakest ...

We consider a two-way half-duplex relaying system where multiple pairs of single antenna users exchange information assisted by a multi-antenna relay. Taking into account the practical constraint of imperfect channel estimation, we study the achievable sum spectral efficiency of the amplify-and-forward (AF) and decode-and-forward (DF) protocols, assuming that the relay employs simple maximum ra...

Long-time behavior of spatial power-law correlation in one-dimensional self-gravitating system is numerically investigated. It is found that the power-law structure persists even after the system is virialized. The structure gradually disappears owing to energy exchange among particles. Energy distribution is quasi-stationary after the system is virialized.

We constructed an analog electrical circuit which generates fluctuations in which probability density function has power law tails. In the circuit fluctuations with an arbitrary exponent of the power law can be obtained by adjusting the resistance. With this low cost circuit the random fluctuations which have the similar statistics to foreign exchange rates can be generated as fast as an expens...

The scale and rotation invariance properties of a recently proposed algorithm, using the fuzzy evidence accumulation principle, for finding lines (ridges) of non-parametric shapes is analysed. The proposed modifications consist in scaling the accumulated value with the inverse of the line width and further fuzzifying the accumulation process – along the line width. Good invariance properties re...

This paper is devoted to the study of semilinear degenerate elliptic boundary value problems arising in combustion theory which obey the simple Arrhenius rate law and a general Newton law of heat exchange. We prove that ignition and extinction phenomena occur in the stable steady temperature profile at some critical values of a dimensionless rate of heat production. 2000 Mathematics Subject Cla...
