just as motivation is important in sla research, demotivation constitutes an important factor, too. there are many studies done on demotivation and burnout of teachers. many of these studies have been conducted on one or two aspects of english instruction. consequently, there are few studies which have been done on more than two aspects of english teaching. the aim of this study is to find out ...

Blocked mutants of Micromonospora echinospora defective in the production of the potent antitumor agent calicheamicin are described. Analysis of intermediates produced by blocked mutants indicates a branched biosynthetic pathway. Mutants that produced some, but not all, calicheamicin forms are also described.

The classical economic production quantity (EPQ) model assumes that items produced are of perfect quality and the production rate is constant. However, production quality depends on the condition of the process. Due to process deterioration or other factors, the production process may shift and produce imperfect quality items. These imperfect quality items sometimes can be reworked and repaired...

The supplier produces the item (raw...

Inventory management seeks to improve manufacturing by contracting inventory costs in a similar fashion raise efficiency and profit. One approach is develop models according actual production systems. Furthermore, governmental policies many countries impose regulations on firms fulfill the growing demand for reduction carbon emissions. Warm-up familiar concept industrial applications. It allows...

The group testing problem consists of determining a small set of defective items from a larger set of items based on a number of tests, and is relevant in applications such as medical testing, communication protocols, pattern matching, any many more. In this paper, we revisit a practical algorithm for noisy group testing in which each item is decoded separately (Malyutov and Mateev, 1980), and ...

We have characterized by T1 fingerprint analysis several defective interfering (DI) double-stranded RNAs of the simple yeast virus ScV. A common sequence of about 0.5 to 0.6 kilobase pairs, including both 3' termini of the parental RNA, was present in each DI RNA. Several DI RNAs had novel T1 oligonucleotides not present in their parental RNA.

The group testing problem consists of determining a small set defective items from larger based on tests groups items, and is relevant in applications such as medical testing, communication protocols, pattern matching, many more. While rigorous algorithms have long been known with runtime at least linear the number recent line works has sought to reduce poly(k log n), where n k defectives. In t...

In this paper a new sequential sampling plan is introduced in which the acceptable quality level (AQL) and the lot tolerance percent defective (LTPD) are a fuzzy number. This plan is well defined, since, if the parameters are crisp, it changes to a classical plan. For such a plan, a particular table of rejection and acceptance is calculated and compared with the classical one. Keywords : St...

We live in a world characterized by massive information transfer and real-time communication. The demand for efficient yet low-complexity algorithms is widespread across different fields, including machine learning, signal processing and communications. Most of the problems that we encounter across these disciplines involves a large number of modules interacting with each other. It is therefore...
