گونه Calligonum spinosetosum به عنوان گونه بومی و جدید از استان اصفهانن، بیابانهای شمال آران و بیدگل نامگذاری و معرفی می‌گردد . این گونه با همه گونه های ایرانی با داشتن تارهای میوه سوزنی، دوشاخه با حدود 6 میلی متر طول متمایز می گردد.
گونه Onobrychis mozaffarianii از نواحی مرکزی ایران به عنوان گونه جدیدی برای دنیا به همراه تصویر شرح داده می‌شود. این گونه با گونه خویشاوند خود O. andalanica مقایسه می‌گردد.

یک گونه جدید ازجنس Helichrysum قبیله Gnaphalieae تیره Asteraceae با نام Helichrysum kermanicum برای ایران و جهان گیاهشناسی شرح داده شده، تصویر آن ارائه گردیده است. صفات تاکزونومیک گونه مذکور به عنوان گونه ای منحصر در میان دیگر گونه های این جنس )با داشتن فقط یک کپه) در ایران شرح داد ه شده است.
گونه Silene mishudaghensis از بخش Auriculatae، تیره میخکیان به عنوان گونه ای جدید از شمال غرب ایران توصیف می شود. گونه جدید از گونه های نزدیک S. araratica و S. longisepala بواسطه خصوصیاتی نظیر شکل برگ های قاعده ای و ساقه ای، شکل کاسه، طول دمگل میانی و جانبی و ویژگیهای دانه قابل تشخیص است.
گونه انحصاری Cousinia karkasensis به عنوان گونه‌ای جدید از مرکز ایران به دنیای علم معرفی می‌گردد. این گونه متعلق به بخش Haussknechtianae می‌باشد. در این مقاله ارتباط گونه جدید با دیگر گونه های بخش Haussknechtianae مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. مطالعات مولکولی نشان داده که گونه جدید به C. raphiocephala نزدیک می‌باشد.
