چکیده
اتخاذ اثر پست مدرنیسیتی فرا تاریخ به این منظور بوده است که این دو درام تاریخی را با ایده های موجود در راستای تاریخ نگاری پست مدرنیستی منطبق سازد. با ایجاد گسیختگی در روایت تاریخ، امر متعالی تاریخی بنا به هیدن وایت فراهم می آید که در هر دو نویسنده وجود داشته است. نظریات هیدن وایت در مورد اعمال ملاحظات زبانشناختی، ایدئولوژیکی و زیبایی شناختی در نگارش تاریخ توسط شیلر و بیلی در درام تاریخی شان اتخاذ شده است تا به عنوان نوعی متن آگاهانه مبدل شوند که در آن احتمالات بیشتری در روایت تاریخ جای می گیرد.
