این تحقیق در شرایط آزمایشگاهی، به منظور بررسی کارایی حشره کش اسپینوسد در کنترل سوسک چهار نقطه ای حبوبات و شپشه ی قرمز آرد صورت گرفت. همچنین کارایی خاک دیاتومه (diatomaceous earth) به عنوان یک حشرهذکش کم خطر و با نحوه ی اثر فیزیکی در کنترل سوسک چهار نقطه ای حبوبات و شپشه ی آرد به صورت تنها و نیز در اختلاط با حشره کش اسپینوسد جهت بررسی اثرات متقابل آن ها مورد بررسی قرار گرفت
